Ideally located right in the center of the village close to all amenities including a newsagent, Costcutter, tea, fish and chips, pubs and restaurants. Thornton Le Dale perfectly located in the center of the North Yorks Moors National Park near Dalby Forest beautiful and still only 30 minutes from York and the famous coastal towns of Whitby and Scarborough are. Nearby is the North Yorks Moors Steam Railway runs between Pickering and Whitby is famous.




GROUND FLOOR:




Entrance: To the front room and sun room




Kitchen: Fridge / freezer, cooker RANGEMASTER with gas stove, oven and grill, dishwasher, microwave. Tables and chairs.




Utility Room: Washing machine and dryer.




Lounge: flat screen TV with Freeview and DVD player. Open hearth coal.




The dining room: dining table and chairs.




The locker room: Toilet and sink facilities.




FIRST FLOOR:




Bedroom 1: Double bed (the bed can be divided into two twin beds) and an additional single bed, fitted wardrobe, dressing table.




En-suite: Roll top bath, 140 mm walk-in shower, sink, toilet, bidet and Victoria towel radiator.




Bedroom 2: Double bed with fitted wardrobe, chest of drawers.




Bathroom: Bath, shower mixer, toilet and sink.




Animals: Two well behaved dogs are welcome down.




Garden: Large split level garden with terrace, sun and hot tub.




Parking: Off-street parking for one car at the rear of the property.




Heating: Gas central heating. Open hearth coal (start-up fuel provided).




Short breaks: Not accepted at peak times or between March and October.




Note: Please bring your own towels. There is also a double folding bed to be used in the dining room so that sleep up to 6. Wi-Fi is available from February 4, 2015.




Thornton Le Dale




Thornton-le-Dale is a village and civil parish in the Ryedale district of North Yorkshire and two miles east of Pickering. The village made famous by thatched cottage which has appeared in countless calendars and chocolate boxes for years. It is a village feel good with a friendly vibe, make all visitors feel welcome and at home. These are the famous White Rose Way, a long distance trip from Leeds to Scarborough also passed. Dalby Forest near and hosts open air concerts in the magnificient natural setting; also it is a great place for cyclists, and pedestrians picnic.
